I went to the ER yesterday to have myself checked for a possible UTI r/o Nephrolithiasis. I was told by the nurse at the Triage that I have to be a bit patient because they had a lot of patients. Nevertheless, I was in the ER for a total of 2 hours, with the meds that I need and with the essential labs done. Today is my last day in the superclerks world of Neuro rotation. We’re actually a lucky group because we didn’t get the immense load that others blocks had. Still, I didn’t sign up to be a superclerk and it still entailed a lot of time, so during the past 2 weeks, I was a little lost (outside Neuro) and not quite myself.

In spite of all the emotional baggage the past couple of weeks have given me, all I can say is… Surgery :). (I think) I’m finally learning how to be more clinical. Haha

Starting Surgery tomorrow. After a month of elective (aka vacation), having to prep myself for another round of clerkship is not my cup of tea. I already did that 2 months ago for OB and to do that again now, I’m not feeling it anymore. Maybe I’ll feel that tomorrow since I once again start a rotation with a duty status. Haha!
